Seller Privacy Notice
This notice describes the personal information used by the LINKIT Collectibles seller registration and review system. Review and confirm the notice before creating an account or applying to sell.
What we collect
Email and authentication information for account access; legal name, seller display name, phone and city for seller application reviews; actual-item photographs, listings and audit activity for Marketplace approval and safety.
Why we use it
To authenticate you, evaluate seller applications, moderate listings, contact applicants about submissions, maintain an audit trail and protect the Marketplace. Seller contact details are not published in public product listings.
Where data is stored
Our current staging system uses Amazon Web Services in the EU (Frankfurt) region, including Cognito, DynamoDB and private S3. Information is transferred from South Africa for these limited account-management purposes, subject to appropriate security and cross-border privacy safeguards.
Who can access it
Approved LINKIT administrators have controlled access to seller application details and listing photographs. Sellers see only their own records. Public visitors see approved product information only during the scheduled Marketplace window.
Information not collected
Seller banking details, identification documents, payment-card information and payout requests are not accepted by this phase of the system. Do not email or upload these details.
Corrections and requests
For access, correction, account questions or a personal-data removal request, contact LINKIT at wesley@linkitsolutions.co.za. Records may need to be retained where necessary to satisfy legal or legitimate audit obligations.
Marketplace terms
Third-party Marketplace listings have an approved 20% LINKIT fee and 80% expected seller proceeds. Sales, payment and payout services are not available yet. Completing registration does not mean your seller application has been approved.
This notice documents the current Phase 2 setup and should be reviewed against the business's full published privacy policy and POPIA requirements before wider public promotion.
